Chair: Jenny Kagetsu, University of British Columbia
Board Rep: Stacey Cool, University of New Brunswick Saint John

Learn valuable insight on CAFCE Accreditation by volunteering as a Reader on a Accreditation Application Review Team. The CAFCE Accreditation Council needs members to volunteer on accreditation review teams. Participation provides you with an excellent opportunity to learn more about the accreditation process.

Team members review the application and assess it against the CAFCE accreditation guidelines. The review team chair confers with members, usually by some combination of telephone, e-mail and fax, to finalize the assessment, and then reports to the Accreditation Council with a recommendation.

The time commitment to participate on a review team is not onerous. Accreditation Applications are received by February 1 or August 1 and the Review Teams, chaired by a member from the Accreditation Council, are asked to complete the review process before the next Accreditation Council Meeting.
